Frank Willard Neuhart, 86, of Cambridge passed away Monday (April 2, 2018) at SEORMC.
He was born July 30, 1931 in Noble County and was the son of the late Frank E. and Hilda Frances (Mercer) Neuhart.
Frank was employed with the State of Ohio for 37 years, he obtained his Surveyors license in 1971, and owned and operated Frank Neuhart Surveyors Services from 1971-2003.
He was a member of Stop Nine Church of Christ, a 1949 graduate of Senecaville High School, a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War where he was awarded a bronze star. He was also a member of V.F.W. post #2901, American Legion, Scottish Rite, and DAV #28. Frank enjoyed square dancing, camping and NASCAR, especially Dale Sr.
In addition to his parents Frank was preceded in death by five brothers, Larry, Jerry, John, Rolland and an infant brother; two sisters, Donna Mae Kirk, and Jane Cramer.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy A. (Endly) Neuhart whom he married May 13, 1952; two sons, Frank “Rick” Neuhart and Kirk Neuhart, both of Cambridge; two daughters, Carolann (Roy) Burdette of Salesville and Roxanne (Bill) Wagstaff of Cambridge; one brother, Harold Neuhart of Senecaville; one sister Karen Saintenoy of Senecaville; eight grandchildren, Seth, Casey, Allison Burdette, Christopher, Cale, Cassandra Wagstaff, Jonnie and Tommy Neuhart; eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday with Evangelist Mark Beros officiating. Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery.
