Derek Cole Touville, 39, of Cambridge, passed away Thursday (April 11, 2024) at Grant Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born February 13, 1985 in Cambridge, son of Dennis Touville and Nettie Hupp.
A 2003 graduate of Meadowbrook High School, Derek had worked as an oil field worker for several years.
He loved sports and was an avid fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish & the Las Vegas Raiders. He also liked fishing.
Derek was Methodist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Charlotte Hupp; his paternal grandparents, Ira & Carol Touville; and two cousins, Nichole Touville and Lora Kirkman.
Derek is survived by his wife, Mackenzie (Prim) Touville, whom he married December 4, 2016; his mother, Nettie Hupp of Kipling; his father, Dennis Touville of the Village of Tuscarawas; two sons, Tony Griffiths of the Village of Tuscarawas and Deagan Cole Touville of Cambridge; two daughters, London Prim of Cambridge and Demii Carol Jean Touville of Cambridge; three brothers, Brett (& Lyn) Wheeler of Caldwell, Dennis Touville of the Village of Tuscarawas, and Dustin (& Angie) Touville of Dover; two sisters, Diana Touville (& Danny Schaffer) of Buffalo and Devanie Touville of Cambridge; his grandfather, Robert “Tug” Hupp; his best friend, Kevin Kissinger; and his special uncle, Fred Touville.
Visitation will be held Wednesday (April 17, 2024) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stop 9 Church of Christ, Byesville, where funeral services will be held Thursday (April 18, 2024) at 11 a.m. with Evan. Woody Biggs.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
