Eric Jones Obituary
Eric K. Jones, 52, of Byesville, passed away Sunday (April 14, 2024) at his home.
He was born January 25, 1972 in Cambridge, son of Nancy (Stewart) Harding and the late Richard A. Jones.
Eric attended Cambridge City Schools. He became an over-the-road truck driver for thirty years. He was happiest in his semi, but he loved hanging out with his family while he was home.
Eric loved a good beer, watching NASCAR and football, and sitting around a fire hanging out with his family while he was home.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Edwin & Vernie Coleman and James & Audrey Stewart; paternal grandparents, Albert and Wilma (Smith) Jones; and several aunts & uncles.
Eric is survived by his mother, Nancy Harding of Byesville; a daughter, Hannah (& Joe) Wheeler of Cambridge; three brothers, Richard “Ricky” Jones of Columbus, Robert Tice of Byesville, and Shawn Tice of Cambridge; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, & nephews.
No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
