Larry Dean Wilson

Larry Dean Wilson, 62, of Vermilion, passed away Saturday (April 6, 2024) at New Life Hospice of Lorain OH.

He was born June 11, 1961 in Cambridge, son of Larry Lee Wilson and Linda (Shepard) Wilson McElroy.

Larry retired after fifteen years as a steelworker. 

He loved all sports, especially football, and was an avid fan of the Titans and Texans (formerly known as the Oilers).

Larry formerly attended Calvary Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cy and Maxine Mincks; his paternal grandparents, Russell and Edna Wilson; a nephew, Brandon Wright; and Dave McElroy.

He is survived by his father, Larry Lee Wilson of Byesville; his mother, Linda McElroy (& Jeff VanWave) of Vermilion; a son, Steve Wilson of Florida; two daughters, Bridgett Wilson and Casandra Wilson both of Elyria; a sister, Donna (& James) Myers of Austin TX; a niece, Courtney (& Brian) Runkle; and a nephew, Cole (& Liz) Myers.

Visitation will be held Friday (April 12, 2024) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will be held Saturday (April 13, 2024) at 10 a.m.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
