Mary Elizabeth (Dollison) Trescott

Mary Elizabeth Trescott, 77, of Byesville, passed away Thursday (February 15, 2024) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

She was born June 3, 1946 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Jerome and Betty Dollison.

A 1964 graduate of Cambridge High School, Mary worked for most of her life in the health care field.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mary enjoyed reading, cross-stitching, crocheting, and making clothes for baby dolls.  She was a good cook and enjoyed baking.  She loved her family dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Trescott, who passed away November 3, 2007 and whom she married December 2, 1967; and two sisters, Patty and Martha.

Mary is survived by two sons, Gary W. (& Trudie) Trescott of Cambridge and Jerome A. Trescott of Byesville; and a sister, Linda (& Carl) Cornett of Zanesville.

Per the family’s wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be held at this time.
