Dale Stobart Obituary

Dale (Gibson) Stobart, 85, of Senecaville passed away Monday (September 23, 2019) at her home.

 She was born March 13, 1934 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late Charles and Meryl (Tedrick) Gibson.

 Dale retired from Champion after 25 years of service, and also worked at the State Hospital for 10 years as an LPN.  She was a 1951 graduate of Cambridge High School.  She was a member of Senecaville United Methodist Church where she enjoyed attending women’s bible study, crafty ladies, and helping with the sack lunch program. She was a sixty plus year member of Eastern Star.  Dale loved to travel, especially her trip to Europe. She loved her birds, staying busy, was a very good painter and seamstress.

 In addition to her parents Dale was preceded in death by three children, Oscar Stobart, Dana Stobart and Debbie Denver; one sister Hope Gibson; two great grandchildren, Mackenzie Brown and Jake Roe.

 She is survived by two daughters, Cammie (Larry) Roe and Nicki Stillions both of Senecaville; one sister Gladys Zimmerman of Cambridge; thirteen grandchildren, Tiffany, Bridgette, Allan, Heidi, Heather, Carrie, Tom, Andrew, Oscar, Trista, Becky, Toby and Kristi; several great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

 Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville where services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Karen Rawlins officiating.  Burial will follow in Senecaville Cemetery.
