Donna Lou (Lashley) Lowry

Donna L. (Lashley) Lowry, 74, of Senecaville joined her late husband Herbert Lowry of 57 years on Monday (August 6, 2018) surrounded by her family at Cambridge Health Care Center.

She was born October 9, 1943 in Senecaville and was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Potts) Lashley.

Mrs. Lowry was a homemaker and in her later years worked part time as a store cashier.  She was a member of Senecaville United Methodist Church and attended Senecaville School.  She enjoyed playing bingo, building puzzles, and watching NASCAR races with her late husband.  Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Kevin Harvick were her favorite drivers. 

In addition to her parents Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years Herbert T. Lowry whom she married March 24, 1959 and passed away May 17, 2016; two brothers, Bob and Ernest Lashley; three sisters, Belva (Bill) Warden, Joanne (Keith) Ahrendts, and Vivian Lashley.

She is survived by three sons, David (Theresa) Lowry of Cambridge, William “Bill” (Brenda) Lowry of Old Washington, and Herbert “Kip” Lowry Jr. of Senecaville; eight grandchildren, Shawn (Molly) Lowry, Justin (Allison) Lowry, Brandon Lowry (Lacy Black), Sarah (Ricky) Ryan, Robbie (Shawna) Lowry, Donna (Michael) Caldwell, Cassie (Adam) Smith and Ryan Lowry; fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville where services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday.  Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery.
