Elsie Mae (King) Dorland, 67, of Cumberland passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (July 9, 2019) in Oak Harbor, Ohio.

She was born September 9, 1951 in Bad Axe, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Raymond L. King and Margaret (Nutt) Miller. She retired from Duke and Duchess convenient store in Buffalo and formerly worked at LDM. She enjoyed her grandchildren, flower gardens and going fishing.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Dorland whom she married September 11, 1972 and passed away March 23, 2017; and one sister Dolly.

She is survived by two daughters, Edie (Robert Headley) Simmons of Cambridge and Sandra (Brian) Yarrington of Zanesville; three brothers, David, Louis and Leroy King all of Michigan; two sisters, Christine and Linda King both of Michigan; five grandchildren; one great grandson.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville.
