Geneva Mae (Triplett) Guiler, 95, of Senecaville passed away Thursday (August 15, 2019).
She was born May 24, 1924 in Noble County and was the daughter of the late Earl and Iona (Finley) Triplett.
Geneva was a homemaker, Methodist by faith, and served on the Board of Elections for many years. She enjoyed bowling and was on several women’s leagues, she also enjoyed canning.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband of sixty three years James Lester Guiler whom she married November 1, 1941 and passed away February 26, 2005; one son James Brent Guiler; three sisters, Alberta, Ruth, and Mary; five brothers, Harold, Ray, Donald, Charles and Gilbert.
She is survived by three sons, Dwain (Tammy) Guiler of Quaker City, David Guiler of Senecaville, and Jeffrey (Polly) Guiler of Senecaville; four daughters, Marilyn (Jay) Buffington of Senecaville, Louella (Chuck) Kastelic of Cumberland, Marsha (Jeff) Moore of Senecaville, and Theda (Tony) Warden of Cambridge; one sister Carol Matheny of Byesville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2:00–6:00 p.m. and Monday 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville where services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday with Pastor Mark Slay officiating. Burial to follow in Senecaville Cemetery.
