Glenna Moore Obituary

Glenna E. (Wood) Moore, 91, of Byesville passed away Tuesday (December 18, 2018) at SEORMC.

She was born March 20, 1927 in Ava and was the daughter of the late Minor A. and Hattie L. (Ball) Wood.

Mrs. Moore retired from Ametek in 1992 after twenty years of service. She formerly attended Free Methodist Church in Ava, and was a graduate of Belle Valley High School. She enjoyed her cats, traveling and shopping.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roy Moore whom she married February 16, 1946 and passed away September 17, 1985; infant daughter Karen; one son Brent; great granddaughter Taylor Clarkston; one sister and one brother.

She is survived by one son Jerld (Rene) R. Moore of Norwich; two daughters, Cheryl (Gomar) Clarkston of Byesville and Tracy Lynn (James) Petry of Cumberland; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
