Grace Ellen (Treherne) Oliver

Grace Ellen (Treherne) Oliver, 90, of Byesville passed away Thursday (June 27, 2019) at her home.

 She was born October 20, 1928 in Guernsey County and was the daughter of the late Joe and Isabelle (Zwall) Treherne.

 Grace retired from Champion Spark Plug after several years of service.  She was a 1946 graduate of Byesville High School. She was a member of Old Cambridge Baptist Church, and Cambridge VFW Aux #2901.  She was an avid gardener and enjoyed canning.  Grace was a lifelong resident of Guernsey County, and was always there for her family, especially her grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leara Oliver; two brothers, Joe and Raymond Treherne; two sisters, Dorothy Chalfant and Margaret Renner.

 She is survived by one son Gene (Kristie) Oliver of Senecaville; two sisters, Marjorie Cain of Byesville and Charlotte Kyle of Newark; four grandchildren, Seth Mychael Oliver, Sheridan Brooke Oliver (Seth Williams), Derrick (Glenda) Snyder, and Davonne (Teddy ) Thompson; six grandchildren, Trevor, Haylie, Kaylie, Katie, Brayden and Karlie.

 No calling hours will be observed.

 A memorial service will be held Friday July 12th at Old Cambridge Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Craig Murrey officiating.
