Ira Frederick Touville, 77 of Buffalo passed away on May 25th 2018 at SEORMC. He was born Jan. 17, 1941 in Trail Run a son to the late Fred A. and Mary E. (Schray) Touville. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Tina R. Touville; a sister Gloria Touville; a nephew Tony Touville; and his mother in law Betty L. McVicker.
Ira was retired from the oil field industry, where he worked for 44 years as a service rig operator, he attended Buffalo high school, in his younger years enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends, and later could be found tinkering in his building or working on his tractors.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Carol (McVicker) Touville, whom he married on Oct. 12,1962; three sons Dennis (Nickey) Touville of Ava, Ira “Fred” (Angela) Touville of Cambridge, James “Bo” (Tricia) Touville of Norwich; two daughters Jamie Kirkman (Eric Jones) of Byesville and Debbie (Mike) Hrindac of PA; two brothers Billy (Sandy) Touville of Byesville and Jimmy (Mary) Touville of Youngstown; three sisters Shirley Esposito, Marina (Dexter) Lockhart, and Angela (Mike) Segari all of Ga.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; many close friends including Brian (Julie) Crum, and his special friend “Pare”.
Calling hours will be held on Wed. from 5-8 p.m. at Black-Epperson funeral home in Byes, with funeral services scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, burial to follow at Greenwood cemetery in Byesville.
