Joan Nanette (Davis) Fehrman, 89, of Byesville passed away Sunday (October 20, 2019) at the Cardinal Place.
She was born July 2, 1930 in Byesville and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Faye A. (Saltz) Davis.
Mrs. Fehrman was a homemaker and former secretary for Fehrman Tool & Die, and also worked at Cambridge Dairy in her younger years. She was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was involved with the Ladies Missionary and choir. She was Valedictorian of the 1947 class of Byesville High School. She loved singing with the Davis Sisters Trio and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph A. Fehrman, son Mark Fehrman, and a granddaughter Jenna.
She is survived by three sons, Max (Barbara) Fehrman , Jay (Celena) Fehrman, and Ted (Mary) Fehrman all of Byesville; two daughters, Donna (Robert) Morris of Rocky Mount, NC, and Mary Lu (James) Howland of Newaygo, MI; two sisters, Yvonne Rogers and Marlene Fehrman both of Byesville; daughter-in-law, Kathy Fehrman of Dayton;eighteen grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville and Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with services to follow at 11:00 with Pastor Dennis Rost officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
