John M. Owczarek

John M. Owczarek Sr., 64, of Senecaville passed away Sunday (May 12, 2019) at his home.

He was born December 18, 1954 in Harrisburg, PA and was the son of the late John W. and Darla (Stokes) Owczarek.

Mr. Owczarek was a mechanic by trade and retired after several years of service.  He was also an electrician.  He loved to fish, and going boating with friends. He was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife Margaret (Lowe) Owczarek whom he married June 19, 1976; one son John M. Owczarek Jr. of Senecaville; one daughter Caroline (Matthew) Lowe of Cambridge; one brother Wayne Owczarek of Byesville; two sisters, Elizabeth (George) Foster of Duncannon, PA and Tammy (Chip) Quigley of PA; three grandchildren, Victoria (Jeffrey) Woodworth, William A. Lowe, and Samantha Lowe; great grandchildren, Zaiden M. Owczarek and another on the way; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. Military honors will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veteran's Council.
