Judith M. (Blair) Allender, 74, of Byesville passed away Tuesday (July 9, 2019) at SEORMC, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born February 3, 1945 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late James Russell and Wanda Irene (Anderson) Blair.
Judy retired from Champion Spark Plug after several years of service, and also worked at Blair’s Upholstery. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and was a 1963 graduate of Cambridge High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and taking care of her grandchildren. Judy was a loving person who enjoyed making people laugh.
In addition to her parents Judy was preceded in death by her husband Danny L. Allender whom she married October 19, 1991 and passed away August 22, 2018; infant brother Jimmy and infant sister Carol.
Judy is survived by one son Shane McCance(Lori Mitchell) of Cambridge; three daughters, Robin (Monte) Johnson of Kimbolton, and Andrea (Chris) Miles of Byesville, and Annette (Dave) Sichina of Lore City ; one brother John D. Blair of Cambridge; one sister Jean Melanko of Cambridge; grandchildren, Ryan Michael (Alisia) Boyer, Bradley (Courtney) Boyer, Tanner (Taylor Bishard) Jackman, Jaycie Jackman, Lee Anna (Tyler Nealey) Sichina , Allison (Luke)Greene, Cohen, Greyson and Weston Miles; great grandchildren, Kalista, McKendell and Triton Boyer, Marley and Bowen Boyer; sister-in-law Darla (John) Brownlee; special friends, Dee Ramage, Shirley McCance and Nancy Wilson.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will be 11:00 a.m Friday. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
