Lester L. Ball, 55, of Zanesville, passed away Tuesday (July 24, 2018) at The Ohio State University – Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.
He was born July 12, 1963 in Bluffton IN, son of the late William Ball and Lester (Baker) Ball Turner.
Lester worked for the Airport Tavern as a bar manager. He also had worked for Fee Corp Environmental of Pataskala and LDM in Byesville.
Lester was in the National Guard for eight years. He loved to fish, grill out, sports, going to casinos, and playing the drums in his band “Lock and Load”.
Lester is survived by his wife, Irmgard “Diane” (Balk) Ball, whom he married July 24, 2004; four sons, Jarrod (Stacie) Ball of Indiana, Nicholas (Elana) Ball of Columbus, Michael (Amy) Ball of Indiana, and Jordan Ball of Caldwell; two daughters, Crystal Ball of Cambridge and Leslie Ball of Indiana; a stepdaughter, Vanessa Snider of Barnesville; two sisters, Michelle (& Mike) Storie and Betty (& John) Bisel both of Indiana; and sixteen beautiful grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday (July 29, 2018) from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m.
