Nancy A. Shaver, 83, of Cambridge, passed away Saturday November 16, 2019 at her home.
She was born March 9, 1936, in Lost Creek, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Jenkens) Bise.
Nancy retired from Riesbeck’s after 12 years of service. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Cambridge. Nancy enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, and playing bingo at the Senior Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fountain L. Shaver whom she married June 18, 1960 and passed away May 28, 2015; sisters, Jesse, and Sara, a brother, Walter, and several other siblings.
Nancy is survived by her two sons, Marvin Shaver of Cambridge and Bradley Shaver of North Carolina; her daughter, Carol Hylton; grandchildren, Samantha and Kimberly Hylton, Ethan Shaver, and several nieces, and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home in Byesville, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., with Brothers Robert Lawson, and Bob Garman officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
