Shirley Margaret (Long) Campbell, 74, of Derwent, passed away Monday (October 14, 2019) at her home.
She was born December 1, 1944 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late Herschel and Edith (Bishard) Long.
Mrs. Campbell was a homemaker and previously worked at Hamilton Beach and Ava Brickyard. She enjoyed gardening, eating tomatoes and sweets, old school video games, Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Campbell Sr. whom she married 1985 and passed away in 1992; four siblings, Edna, Ella May, Florence and Everett; a step-son David.
She is survived by seven children, Jerry Beebe of Derwent, Joe (Rhonda) Beebe of Pleasant City, Tom (Melissa) Beebe of VA, Betty (Jake) Bailey of Philo, Raymond (Tia) Campbell Jr. of Pleasant City, James (Tracey) Campbell of Derwent, and Bill (Tina) Campbell of Senecaville; three step-children, Mark, George and Jennifer; one sister Lila (Tom) Plowey of PA, twenty nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville with services to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Larry Buckey officiating. Burial will follow in Halley’s Ridge Cemetery.
