Timothy R. Calvert, 56 of Byesville, passed away Thursday November 1, 2018 at SEORMC.
He was born February 16, 1962 in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late Linda (Morris) and Rick Huffstuttler and late James “Jim” Calvert, and Joyce Calvert of Kentucky.
Tim served in the US Navy, and later in the US Coast Guard. He was a graduate of Deep Creek High School in Chesapeake, VA, and later earned an Associate Degree from MATC in Business/Paralegal. Tim worked as a Paralegal, and also enjoyed working from home doing friends taxes.
He was Pentecostal by faith. Tim enjoyed his crime shows, NCIS, and Law and Order, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Tim was known to have never met a stranger, and had a joke for everyone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Calvert.
He is survived by a son, Brandon Calvert, of the home, 2 grandchildren, Anabel, and Levi Calvert, his sisters, Debbie Fulton, Melanie Taylor, Tina Taylor, and Joy Neiman, brothers, Vincent Calvert, Timothy Taylor, and David Taylor, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Black-Epperson Funeral Home in Byesville, where services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am, with Pastor Nancy Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with the Guernsey County Veterans Council providing military honors.
