Victor E Sklenar

Victor E. Sklenar, 90, of Lore City passed away Friday (April  20, 2018) at the Cambridge Health Care Center.

 He was born January 6, 1928 in Belle Valley, and was the son of the late John and Emma (Krempasky) Sklenar.

 He was a 1946 graduate of Belle Valley High School, and attended Ohio University. Victor retired from Central Ohio Coal Co. in 1993 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Lore City.

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, and five sisters.

 He is survived by his wife, June Ann (Scholik) Sklenar, whom he married July 16, 1955 and several nieces and nephews.

 Calling hours for Victor will be Monday from 11:00am to 12:00 pm at Black-Epperson Funeral Home in Byesville, where services will follow at 12:00 pm. with Fr Paul Hrezo officiating. Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery with the Guernsey County Veterans Council providing military graveside services.
