Wilma Marie (Lisle) Rossiter, 94, of Byesville passed away Tuesday (December 18, 2018) at Altercare in Caldwell.
She was born June 12, 1924 in Byesville and was the daughter of the late Zenas W. and Minnie M. (Thatcher) Lisle.
Wilma was a former employee of RCA, a secretary for Everett’s Disposal, and owner/operator of Seneca Trail Drive In. She was a lifelong member of Assembly of God, enjoyed gardening, watching game shows and square dancing.
In addition to her parents Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Everett Rossiter whom she married October 30, 1940 and passed away April 14, 1985; one son Larry Rossiter Sr.; one daughter Karen Bayly; one great grandson Ethan King; three brothers, Ralph, Robert and Raymond Lisle; five sisters, Effie Sommers, Lillie Wilson, Leona Bean, Elsie Gray and Glenna Nealey.
She is survived by one daughter Christine Hornak of Quaker City; seven grandchildren, Larry Rossiter Jr., Denise Kehl, Brian Rossiter, Jennifer King, Travis Gibson, Mackenzie and Dakota Hornak; eleven great grandchildren, Derek, Russell, Kevin, Joshua, Danielle, Tristen, Tyler, Madison, Audrey, Marcus and Reis; five great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Assembly of God with Pastor Joe Sommers and Pastor Roger Larrison officiating. Burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
