Obituary

Anthony Ryan Gerdau, 28, of Derwent, passed away Sunday (March 20, 2022) at SEORMC.

He was born July 8, 1993 in Cambridge, son of Rob Haught of Pleasant City and Patti Gerdau of Derwent.

Anthony was a 2011 graduate of Meadowbrook High School.  He formerly worked at Community Health Care Assoc. of Ohio as an IT specialist. He enjoyed working on computers, fishing, playing video games and hanging with his friends.  He was a good friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Charles Gerdau Sr.; his paternal grandparents Charles and Rae Haught.

In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother Cory Stone of Derwent; two sisters, Tori Haught of Cambridge and Lyndsey Stillion of Coshocton; maternal grandmother Ruth Gerdau of Derwent; his girlfriend Keely Alexander; several nieces, nephews ,cousins and numerous friends.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville.
