Anthony Moore Obituary

Anthony Raymond “Tony” Moore, 51, of Cumberland, passed away Monday (September 20, 2021) at SEORMC due to complications of Covid-19.

He was born December 13, 1969 in Cambridge, son of the late Larry M. and Beverly I. (Osborne) Moore.

Tony was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #18. He was currently employed with National Lime Stone, and during the winter months he worked for Carlson Environmental Consultants. Tony was a 1988 graduate of Meadowbrook High School, and a member of The Anchor Church, Cambridge.  He enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and rides on his Harley with Mindi. Tony was a hard worker and enjoyed going to work.

In addition to his parents Tony was preceded in death by an infant brother Stephen, a sister Melissa Moore, a brother-in-law Mark Kerr, and his grandmother Mildred Moore.

He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Mindi (McCloud) Moore whom he married February 16, 2008; two sons, Travis Moore of Cambridge and Tanner Baker; two daughters, Courtney (Jeremy) Kisner of Philadelphia, PA and Sabrina Baker of Cumberland; one brother, Mike Moore of New Concord; one sister Tonia (Ed) Kerr of Newcomerstown; one granddaughter Cali Baker; nieces and nephews, James, Luke and Hailie; mother and father in law, Gary and Connie McCloud of Lewisville; and his dogs, Bandit and Ray Ray; and countless friends; former wife and mother of his children, Bobbi Snodgrass of Elizabeth, WV.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Josh Chrisman officiating.  Burial will follow in Cumberland Cemetery.

Friends and family are welcome, but due to Covid-19, MASKS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.  Please take all precautions to ensure your own safety and everyone else’s should you decide to attend.
