Obituary
Barbara J. “Barb” (Channell) Ellison, 87, of Senecaville, passed away March 28, 2023 at Astoria Place of Cambridge.
She was born March 10, 1936 in West Virginia, daughter of the late Oris Channell and Fern (Long) Channell.
Barb was a 1954 graduate of Senecaville High School and a very active, long-time member of the Senecaville United Methodist Church.
A member of the gospel group The Solid Rock Singers, she loved singing and had a beautiful voice. She also enjoyed bowling, as well as playing cards at the Secrest Center.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn.
Barb is survived by her husband, Rich Ellison; two sons, Craig Ellison of Senecaville and Carl Carpenter of Montana; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A sincere thank you goes out to Paula and Kathy, two special angels in Barb’s life.
No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
