Betty Louise (Blair) Wright, 79, born August 28, 1941 in Cumberland, KY, daughter of the late Hiram Hillard Blair and Roxie (Estep) Blair.
Betty managed an Auto/Body shop from 1969-1987. She was a supply clerk for the North American Coal Co. #4 mine in Clarington, Ohio from 1977-1980. She became a hairdresser in 1981, owned and operated her own shop from 1981 – 1990. Betty was a member of the Stop 9 Church of Christ in Byesville, and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wright of Virgie, KY.
Betty is survived by her beloved partner, Donald Zimba of Byesville; a son John H. Wright (Karen) of Albany, Ohio; a sister Yvonne Raleigh (late John Raleigh Sr.) of Biloxi, MS; three grandchildren, April Crall of Guysville, Ohio, Kari Leigh Dietrich and Lucas Taylor both of Hannibal; 6 great grandchildren; two nephews, John Raleigh Jr. (Shaun) of Charlotte, MI, and Sam Raleigh (Tammy) of Ocean Springs, MS.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Evangelist Woody Biggs officiating.
