Beverley Lee (Dinges) Galloway

Beverley Lee (Dinges) Galloway, 92, of Cambridge and formerly of Lore City, died Tuesday (June 7, 2022) at Astoria Place of Cambridge.

Beverley was born September 21, 1929 in Lore City, daughter of the late Myron and Myrle (Dugan) Dinges.

She graduated from Lore City High School, Class of 1947.  Beverley married her high school sweetheart, David L. Galloway, on October 21, 1950.

She was very involved with her church, Lore City United Methodist Church, where she was the pianist for more than thirty years.

In her later years, Beverley and David traveled around the country with friends and family, enjoying the sites and wonders of the United States.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, David L. Galloway, who died November 6, 2010; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Andy and Joan Chorey; and a granddaughter, Sarah Ann Arnold.

She is survived by a daughter, Lynne Hayes; a son, Kevin Galloway; a grandson, David (Brandy) Arnold; a great-grandson, Wyatt Arnold; three brothers, Gary (Judy) Dinges, Jon Dinges, and Mark (Rose) Dinges; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Judy Dinges, for everything they did for our mom, as well as a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Astoria Place.

Visitation will be held Tuesday (June 14, 2022) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville, where funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Wib Bragg and Pastor Clayton Coffey.

Burial will follow at Senecaville Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to one of the following organizations: 1) Lore City United Methodist Church, or 2) Lore City Volunteer Fire Department.
