Bonita Jean (Keenan) Demuth, 79, of Byesville, died Friday (July 22, 2022) at Southeastern Med, Cambridge.
She was born December 27, 1942 in Cuyahoga Falls, daughter of the late John W. Keenan and Alberta (Soulsby) Keenan.
Bonita was a nursing home aide and home health aide for many years.
She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, riding horses, and tending to her flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John W. Keenan Jr.; a daughter, JoAnn Kristbaum; a stepson, Donald Demuth; and a granddaughter, Amber Starr Mahley.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph L. Demuth, whom she married August 20, 1979; two sons, Kevin (Bobbi) Mahley of Illinois and Ralph A. (Cindy) Demuth of California; four daughters, Sue (Brandon) Hyler of Indiana, A. Rose Conner of Byesville, Kelly (Bryan) Bowe of Port Washington, and Lori (Richard) Olson of Wisconsin; a brother, Russell Keenan of Wisconsin; three sisters, Judy Zerycki of Salesville, Verna (Johnny) Macias of Colorado, and Beth (Joe) Jones of Byesville; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren, with one on the way; one great-great-grandchild, with one on the way; several nieces & nephews; and her lifelong friends, Helene Bomar and Audrey Helmer.
No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
