Caleb Reed Obituary

Caleb Justin Reed, 24, died Monday (October 30, 2023) in Noble County near Pleasant City as the result of an auto accident.

He was born December 26, 1998 in Cambridge, son of Jonathan Reed and Paula (Graham) Glass.

Caleb was a 2017 graduate of Shenandoah High School and Mid-East Ohio’s welding program.  He was a member of Shenandoah’s FFA Chapter.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and four-wheeling.  He was a backyard mechanic in his spare time.  He loved his family, especially his dear grandmothers.

Caleb attended the Freedom Worship Chapel.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard & Betty (Lambert) Reed; his maternal grandfather, Bill McKinney; three cousins, Jennifer Carpenter, Richard “Scott” Reed, and Andrew Thomas O’Meara; and an uncle, Bill Graham.

Caleb is survived by his father, Jonathan Reed (and his fiancée, Ginger Kline); his mother, Paula (and her husband, David) Glass; a son, Steven Reed; a brother, Riley; two sisters, Dorissa and Abriella; his maternal grandparents, Donna McKinney, Paul Graham, and Patricia Glass; his aunts and uncles, Richard & Drema Reed, Robin & Dallas Ashby, Sandra Roy (& James), and Rae Chidlow; and several great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday (November 2, 2023) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will be held on Friday (November 3, 2023) at 1 p.m.
