Carol M. Collins, 86, of Cambridge and formerly of Byesville, died Saturday (May 1, 2021) at Cambridge Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born August 16, 1934 in Byesville, daughter of the late Earl R. King and Gertrude (Hutton) King.
Mrs. Collins attended Byesville High School and was Baptist by faith.
She had worked as a cashier for Zayre’s and American Farm & Fleet for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Collins, who died in 1978. They were married on July 5, 1950. Also deceased is a daughter, Deborah Hillyer; five brothers, Clarence, Vernon, Donald, Teddy, and Gilbert; and two sisters, Geneva and Pauline.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Pam Aleshire; her former son-in-law, Sonny Hillyer; and her extended family at Cambridge Health & Rehab.
No calling hours will be observed.
Graveside services and burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville, on Wednesday (May 5, 2021) at 12 p.m. with Evang. Mark Beros officiating.
