Charles Joseph “Chuck” Calvert, 50, of Senecaville passed away Sunday (September 19, 2021) at SEORMC.
He was born March 16, 1971 in Cambridge, son of Joan “Annie” (McHenrey) of Calvert of Cambridge and the late Charles Calvert Jr.
Chuck retired from the U.S. Army in 2015 after serving 23 years as a Sgt. (E5). He was a graduate of Meadowbrook High School.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles & Pauline Calvert and Joseph & Virginia McHenrey; a sister, Kimberly Calvert.
In addition to his mother Chuck is survived by his wife of three years, Brenda S. (Bennett) Calvert whom he married December 1, 2018;one son Jacob Calvert of Dayton; two daughters, Jennifer (Jacob) Lindley and Madison Calvert both of Dayton; one step-daughter, Jennifer McCormick of Senecaville; five grandsons, Stanley Rose, Emmett, Haytham, Brody and Marshall Lindley; five sisters, Patricia (Robert) Eltringham of Buffalo, Barbara Brink of Buffalo, Carol (Larry) Ray, Juanita Calvert of Reynoldsburg and Bonnie Thomas of Columbus; mother of his children, Stephanie (Neace) Calvert of Dayton; special friend, Robert Stamper of Dayton.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday (September 26, 2021) at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville with Jeff Leonard officiating.
