Charles “Chuck” Reasoner, 73, of Derwent, died Monday (August 8, 2022) at Oak Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Baltic.
He was born July 28, 1949 in Cambridge, son of the late Wayne Reasoner and Isabelle (Wallace) Reasoner.
A 1970 graduate of Cambridge High School, Chuck had worked at Detroit Diesel, where he was a truck driver and parts rebuilder for twenty years.
He enjoyed fishing and riding bikes.
Charles was a US Navy veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marion.
He is survived by his wife, Diana (King) Reasoner, whom he married in 1968; four sons, Charles “Chuck” Reasoner Jr. of Cambridge, David Wayne Reasoner of Derwent, Timothy Allen Reasoner of Senecaville, and Danny Reasoner of Cambridge; four brothers, Dennis Reasoner of Chandlersville, Michael (Connie) Reasoner of Byesville, Dale Reasoner of Byesville, and Johnny Reasoner of Cambridge; a sister, Helen “Sis” (Shelton) Shuman of Cambridge; seven grandchildren, Tommy, Lindy, Brennan, Cody, Kianna, Kelsey, and Charlie; ten great-grandchildren, Bowe, Cherry, Gracie, Leon, Noel, Aiden, Addison, Carson, Carter, and Lyla; and several nieces & nephews.
No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
