Christine Yunk, 78, of Cambridge, OH, passed away August 14th 2020, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Cambridge, OH to parents Thurman & Lois Allen.
Christine graduated from Cambridge High School in 1968. She was married to Charles Boyd, then later on to Richard Yunk.
Christine is survived by Jeffrey Boyd [son] & Christie Caswell, Lane Tysinger [sister], Dave Allen [brother] & Debbie Allen, Mary Allen [sister], Tony [nephew], Laura, Luciana and Anthony Tysinger. Danielle [grandchild] & Sean Leffler, Christopher Boyd [grandchild], Anthony Butler [grandchild], Leah Allen [niece] & Michelle. Noah, Oliver, Ariela and Brycin [great grandchildren], Jeff and Chris Yunk [step-sons].
She was preceded in death by Thurman & Lois Allen [parents], Larry & Louise [aunt] Markwood, Charles C. Boyd [son], Richard Yunk [spouse], Carl Tysinger [brother-in-law].
Christine was employed in the finance industry and retired through PNC Financial Services. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family. Loved the holidays being surrounded by family and friends. Enjoyed traveling, sight-seeing, art/design, photography, reading, writing, remodeling, cooking. Life-long Ohio State Buckeyes fan. A devout Christian committed to being the best she could be. Determined to help those in-need. A special woman who touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all.
May you rest in the arms of the lord who formed you from the dust of the earth. May holy Mary, the angles and all the saints welcome you now that you have gone forth from this life. May Christ who was crucified for you, bring you freedom and peace. May Christ who died for you admit you into his garden of paradise.
