Clyde “Kink” Barnett III, 63, of Cumberland passed away Wednesday (April 7, 2021) at Genesis Healthcare.
He was born November 26, 1957 in Cambridge son of the late Clyde E. “June” and Elizabeth L. “Dot” (Smith) Barnett.
Kink was an oil field worker for many years. He was a 1976 graduate of Meadowbrook High School, a member of American Legion, Belle Valley, Buffalo VFW Aux. #8040 and Eagles Aerie #386. He enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother David Allen Barnett.
He is survived by 5 sisters, Denise (Larry) Cross, Jackie (George) Chesar and Sandy (Ted) Gress, Leah Leek and Alice (Jeff) Hayes all of Cumberland; one daughter, Heather Howell; two grandchildren, Tyler and Trevor and one great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Gloria Dodrel of Cumberland and her children, Kelly and Lee, and her grandchildren, Leslie, Madison and Loren.
Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville with services to follow at1:00 p.m. with Pastor Nancy Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.
