Dana A. Winkleman, 73, of Pleasant City, passed away Monday (December 28, 2020) at his home.
He was born April 21, 1947 in Pleasant City and was the son of the late Jack and Charlotte (Johnson) Winkleman.
Dana was the owner and operator of Winkleman Masonry for 30 years. He was a 1965 graduate of Shenandoah High School, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Cambridge VFW #2901, Moose Lodge #631 and Eagles Aerie #386. Dana enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by one son Chad Winkleman of Pleasant City; one daughter Alicia (Jeff) Hunt of Nashport; two brothers, John (Linda) Winkleman and Fudd (Randy) Winkleman; one sister Diane (Jim) Reed; four grandchildren, Brooke (Bradley) Bettinger, Trevor (Courtney) Winkleman, Brendan Hunt and Tyler Winkleman; two great grandchildren, Fallynn Winkleman and Baker Bettinger; longtime companion, Joyce Hissong.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (January 5th) at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Pleasant City with Evangelist Mark Beros officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veteran’s Council.
