David Dean “Dave” Ferguson, 62, of Byesville passed away Tuesday (September 8, 2020) as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born March 28, 1958 in Zanesville and was the son of the late Robert and Catherine Ferguson.
Dave retired from the former LDM after 14 years of service. He was a member of Irish Ridge Methodist Church, a longtime member of AA, and a 1976 graduate or Tri-Valley High School and MAJVS. His hobbies included fishing, motorcycle riding, bowling, and he loved being around people, he loved animals, especially his dog “Baby”.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sandy G. (Kennedy) Ferguson, whom he married March 6, 1995; a step-son, Ryan (Cassidy) Wheeler of Cambridge’ one brother Rick (Kelly) Ferguson of Zanesville; two sisters, Diane (Frank) Lairh of Zanesville and Nancy (Trey) Huffman of Flint Ridge; brother and sister in laws, Jay (Bev) Kennedy of Byesville, Tom (Melody) Greathouse of Cambridge, Jim (Candy) Binckley of Zanesville and Mike (Connie) Kennedy of Nevada; three grandchildren, Kiley, Brian and Larah Wheeler, and their mother Jessica Mell; several nieces and nephews, including Andrea (& Mitch) and Stephanie (& Brian).
No calling hours or services will be observed at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
