David Dean Lisle passed away Saturday, May 2nd after a battle with acute leukemia.
He was born September 1, 1940 in Byesville, Ohio to the late Robert and Viola Jean Lisle.
David attended Byesville schools before enlisting in the U.S. Army where he was trained as a machinist. He was stationed in Korea for 2 years.
Upon returning home, he relocated to California and worked as a machinist at several companies in California, Nevada, and Ohio. He chose early retirement in 2000 from Lambert Brothers Machine Shop in Cincinnati to help care for his widowed mother. For the past several years he worked part time as an attendant at the Cambridge Airport.
David leaves behind his daughter Brenda (Roger) Buck and three grandsons: Robbie Richards, Kirk Richards, and Zach Richards. He also leaves behind his brother Rick (Judy) Lisle, two nephews, one niece, three great nephews, and several very special cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.
Private graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Byesville, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or to any animal charity.
