Debra Ann Sherman, 63, of Cambridge passed away Thursday (December 19, 2019) at Astoria Place.
She was born September 27, 1956 in Cambridge and was the daughter of the late John and June (Ford) Sherman.
Debra formerly worked at Subway for several years, where she was known as a very devoted employee. She was Methodist by faith and attended Meadowbrook High School. Debra enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching HGTV and wrestling on TV, solving crossword and word search puzzles.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and David Sherman.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne (Sherry) Sherman of Zanesville and Alfred Owczarek of Cambridge; one daughter, Ashley Owczarek of Cambridge; one brother, Scott “Doc” (Karen) Sherman of Pleasant City; four sisters, Tammy Fish of Cambridge, Beth Stobart of Byesville, Martha Sherman of Old Washington, and Dora (Doug Redman) of Cambridge; one sister-in-law, Alaine Sherman; four grandchildren, Brooklyne Bennett, Casey Fraley, Alli Lynn Sherman, and Judy Newland; several nieces and nephews; former companion and father of her children, Wayne Owczarek.
No calling hours or services will be observed.
