Denny Coon, 50, of Columbiana, formerly of Cambridge, OH, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021.
Denny was born February 1, 1971 and a graduate of Meadowbrook High School.
He is survived by his parents, Lavada (Brewer) Dyer of Byesville and Dennis Coon of New Carlisle; one daughter, Jorden Coon of Kentucky, formally Cambridge; two sisters, Krystal Coon Leonard (TJ) of Cumberland and Nicole Dyer (Keith Moore) of Byesville; two nieces, Amber Urdak of Cumberland and Bella Moore of Byesville; two nephews, Tony Urdak and Joseph Armentrout both of Senecaville; one great nephew and two great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Tina Coon, William and Marion Brewer and Stepfather, Earl Dyer Jr.
Denny spent his lifetime working in the Plastics Industry and was most currently the Molding Manager for Century Container in Columbiana. Previously he worked for Encore Industries and Ames True Temper.
Denny loved music and playing guitars, a natural born talent that he perfected throughout the years. He spent many happy years playing Bass guitar with Backbone and other bands.
He also loved spending time with his beloved daughter, Jorden, who he loved more than anything.
Denny was the protector of his family and touched the lives of everyone around him. He had an amazing personality and unique love of life. He loved to make people laugh and was always joking around. He was quick witted, had a wonderful smile and infectious laugh.
He had many special friends and touched the lives of many through his music and work. He will be forever missed.
Family and friends may gather on Monday, April 5th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Black Epperson Funeral Home in Byesville, OH.
