Donald William Compton Jr., 61, of Byesville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday (October 12, 2021) at his home.
He was born March 10, 1960 in Dayton, son of Mary Ann (Woods) Compton of Senecaville and the late Donald Compton Sr.
Donald was a truck driver for NFI Industries, and formerly worked in home construction with his brother. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a graduate of Edgewood City Schools. He enjoyed playing pool, watching the Cincinnati Bengals and riding his Harley.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister Melissa Wheeler and a niece Melissa Compton.
Along with his mother he is survived by two sons, Cody (Reagan Reynolds)Compton of the home and Donald William Compton III of Woodsdale, Ohio; one brother Todd (Shannon) Compton of Salesville; one sister Kim (Robert) Ball of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Klarren Compton and Jayce Luke; three nephews and one niece; his dog Prince.
Visitation will be Thursday (Oct. 21st) from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville with services to follow at 7:00 p.m.
