Donna Dean (Baker) Easterday, 90, of Pleasant City passed away Wednesday (February 19, 2020) at the Beckett House.
She was born November 27, 1929 in Caldwell and was the daughter of the late George and Hulda (Stack) Baker.
Donna was a homemaker, and also worked at Clevite/Gould Company in Caldwell from 1951-1962. She was a member of Stop Nine Church of Christ, Golden Sixties, and the Purple Heart Aux. #625. Donna enjoyed canning, knitting, sewing, and training dogs with her husband.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Carlos M. Easterday whom she married September 8, 1961 and passed away October 18, 2019; siblings, Paul, Walter, Mary Ruth, Helen Jean and Georgie, infant brother .
She is survived by two sons, James (Barbara) Scott of Cambridge and Robert (Linda) Scott of Roff, OK; six grandchildren, Wendy (Hank) Morse, Tamara (James) Quaid, Karen (Tim) West, Jesse (Ashley) Scott, Brian (Melissa) Scott, and Barry (Jessica) Scott; seventeen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Evangelist Woody Biggs officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant City Cemetery.
