Doug Wilson Obituary

Doug A. Wilson age 50 of Byesville, passed away on Friday April 15, 2022 at his home. He was born on June 17, 1971 in Wheeling, WV to the late Raymond Wilson and Fran (Birkhimer) Miller.

Mr. Wilson was a former employee of Detroit Diesel for 25 years and was currently working part time in the Construction business, he was a graduate of Bridgeport high school, and proudly served his country in the US Army as a member of the Army Airborne. He loved riding his motorcycle, which he named  Harley-Jean, trips on his side by side, woodworking, fishing, old Chevy trucks, and anything mechanical, but his true passion was his dog Marley.

Doug is preceded in death by his dad, Raymond Wilson.

Survivors include his mother Fran (Frank) Miller of St. Clairsville, a daughter Arista (Derek Farmer) Wilson of Leetonia, step daughter Chandra Lake of Quaker City, a brother Raymond Wilson of Cambridge, two sisters Rhonda (Stephen) Wettberg of Texas, and Pam Sulek of St. Clairsville, a grandson Tatum Farmer, his companion of 6 years Gina Orr of Byesville, many close friends, and riding buddies.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2022 from 11:00-1:00 at Black-Epperson Funeral Home in Byesville, with funeral services beginning at 1:00, burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Evan. Mark Beros to officiate.
