Edward W. “Crazy Man” Wilson Sr., 83, of Lore City, passed away Saturday (July 17, 2021) at the Morrison House in Zanesville.
He was born August 2, 1937 in Pickens, WV, son of the late Loyal and Beulah (Cutwright) Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was a retired truck driver, and was a social member of Kipling VFW #7371.
He loved all things in life, his children, grandchildren, fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, visiting his family and friends, and traveling the states to see many.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death his wife Sylvia (King) Wilson whom he married February 14, 1959 and passed away in 1993; one daughter Tammie Lippert; a granddaughter Amanda Holmes; two brothers, Gene and Don; four sisters, Betty, Sue, Joy and Patricia.
He is survived by three sons Eddie (Melanie) Wilson Jr. of Lore City, Jerry Wilson of Pleasant City and Terry (Bobbi) Wilson of Cambridge; two daughters, Teresa (Jessie) Kehl of Salesville, Lechia (Kenny) Holmes of Lore City; one sister Deloris (Courtney) Cowden of Newcomerstown; son in law Jerry Lippert of Salesville; one sister in law Charlotte Wilson; two brothers in law, Charlie Pressdee and Richard (Debbie) King; 15 grandchildren, Misty (Jason) Miles, Ammie Holmes, Kerry Holmes, Caleb Wilson, Eric (Julie) Wilson, Adam Wilson, Alicia Wilson, Shannah Wilson, Kimberly (Chad) Burga, Jacob Kehl, Rell Wilson, Brantley Wilson, Brandon Lippert, Kelli (Logan) Wright and Karlie Wilson; 24 great grandchildren, Devan, Anna, Gavin, Mikia, Lilly, Sebastian, Baylor, Leighanna, Kinsley, Brailey, Lane, Parker, Connor, Aubrey, Kade, Ashtin, kenlee, Karter, Koa, Kaylie, McKenna, Shane, Luna and Luci; Companion of 22 years “Sue” Avery Searles; his lifelong best friend Bruce “Wolfie” Gander; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
No calling hours or services will be observed. A celebration of life will be held at alater date.
