Emma J. Beebe, 91, of Pleasant City, died Sunday (January 2, 2022) at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell.
She was born August 23, 1930 in Cambridge, daughter of the late John DuBois and Mildred (Callihan) Wheeler.
Mrs. Beebe was a homemaker. She loved to cook and was “the best cook”! She enjoyed crocheting and going fishing with her husband, Harold.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. Beebe, who died February 15, 2017. They were married August 13, 1948. Also deceased are two brothers, Bob DuBois and Jack Wheeler; two sisters, Shirley Hale and Charlotte Stork.
She is survived by three daughters, Sandy (Chuck) Larrick of Byesville, Patricia (Mike) Love of Hebron, and Vicky (Allen) Atkins of Newark; a brother, William (Nina) Wheeler of Cambridge; a sister, Janet Stover of Pleasant City; four grandchildren, Shannon (Joe) Endly, Lori (Pat) Mahoney, Kelly (Matt) Costello, and Justin Parry; six great-grandchildren, Erin, Cameron, Shylin, Jaden, Makayla, and Derek; numerous step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren;and two great great grandchildren.
Private services were held for the family with burial at Pleasant City Cemetery. Pastor Randy Mercer officiated the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Pleasant City Methodist Church.
