Esther Ellen (Redd) Gray

Esther Ellen (Redd) Gray, 89, of Senecaville, passed away Wednesday (February 3, 2021) at Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born November 10, 1931 in Lore City and was the daughter of the late John H. and Mary E. (Meighen) Redd.

Esther was employed with RCA and NCR for several years. She was a 1948 graduate of Lore City High School, and a member of Lore City United Methodist Church.  She was a lifetime member Buffalo VFW #8040, and a member of Big John’s Sportsman’s Club at Seneca Lake, where she had previously been very active.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Orville “Raymond” Gray who passed away November 14, 1995; step-son William “Darnell” Gray; step-daughter Carol Kunkle; sisters, Daisy, Hazel and Leota; brothers, Russell, Bill, Leroy and Delmer.

She is survived by step-grandchildren, Diane Kunkle, Terry, John and Janet Gray; several nieces, nephews and a lifetime of friends.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Buffalo Cemetery with Evangelist Woody Biggs officiating.
