Esther Jean Milhoan, 89, of Buffalo, passed away Wednesday May 5, 2021 at the Beckett House.
She was born January 14, 1932 in Byesville, a daughter of the late Arthur and Clovis (Bean) Anderson.
Esther worked at the former Motto Mower, and then went on to work for Hamilton Beach, where she would retire. She was a long-time member of the 1st Assembly of God Church in Zanesville. Esther was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, Precious Moments collector, and enjoyed her puzzle books.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Revere Milhoan, whom she married on April 4, 1949, and passed away on August 22, 2007, a son, Richard Milhoan, granddaughter, Rochelle Milhoan, grandson-in-law, Joel Poole, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Esther is survived by 4 daughters, Barbara (John) Bates, Cambridge, Rebecca (Bob) Williams, Pleasant City, Norma (Tom) Campbell, Pleasant City, and Debra Poland, Buffalo, a son, Wayne (Kathy) Milhoan, Byesville, 11 grandchildren, Deanna Winland, Valerie Poole, Larry Lawrence, Robert (Michelle) Williams, Jessica (Brian) Oliver, Dale Milhoan (Susan), Jennifer Lashley, Troy Milhoan, Jared Milhoan, Mike (Melissa) Campbell, and John Scott Wickem, 5 step-grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Janie Milhoan, Byesville.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home in Byesville, where services will follow at Noon, with Pastors Dustin Deike and Shannon Treat officiating.
Burial will follow in Buffalo Cemetery.
