Floretta Ellen (Williams) Charleston, 94, of Byesville passed away Thursday (August 8, 2019) at her home.
She was born October 25, 1924 in Byesville and was the daughter of the late William H. and Bessie (Tulip) Williams.
Mrs. Charleston retired in 1986 from Beech Grove School as a Secretary Aide after several years of service. Flo took great pleasure in attending most Meadowbrook sporting events. She was an avid Colt fan and a “special fan” to her boys, Logan Wolverton, Justin Cork, Konner Roberts and Troy Francis. She lovingly referred to Konner as her “boyfriend”! She often entertained them with her version of “Take Me Out To The Ball Game”.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Homer E. Charleston whom she married November 23, 1947 and passed away in 1993; brother John R. Williams; step-mother Mary Williams.
