Obituary

Floyd Earl May, 68, of Lore City, passed away Friday (July 14, 2023) surrounded by his family.

He was born October 15, 1954 in Columbus, son of the late Robert Lee May Sr. and Betty May.

Floyd was a graduate of Meadowbrook High School and retired from Local # 495 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union.

He enjoyed going to auctions and collecting antiques.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to dirt track races.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee May Jr.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Palmer) May, whom he married March 2, 1973; his son, Jason (Andrea) May of Lore City; his brother, Donald May of Byesville; his sister, Beth Bradshaw of Cambridge; and four grandchildren, Justice May, Cameron May, Maddie May, and Mason May.

The immediate family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date honoring the wishes of Floyd.
