Forest Wayne Valentine, 88, of Cambridge, died Thursday (March 18, 2021) at his home.
He was born September 8, 1932 in Happydale, son of the late Burt Valentine and Edna (Watson) Valentine.
Mr. Valentine was a farmer. He also operated his own sawmill.
He enjoyed bowling and bowled in several local leagues. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Valentine was a 1950 graduate of Byesville High School. He was Protestant by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorraine and Lucille; and a brother, Harold.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Wallace) Valentine, whom he married April 2, 1954; a son, Gary Wayne Valentine of Zanesville; a daughter, Cindy Valentine of Zanesville; and a granddaughter, Attorney Sara Valentine of Columbus.
No calling hours will be observed.
Graveside services & burial will be held Saturday (March 20, 2021) at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville, with Pastor Clayton Coffey officiating.
