Fred Mason Duniver, 87, of Cambridge passed away Monday (January 6, 2020) at Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation.
He was born June 20, 1932 in Marietta and was the son of the late Fred and Lois (Mason) Duniver.
Mr. Duniver retired from Champion Spark Plug after.
He was a graduate of Cambridge High School, former commander of Byesville VFW, loved to play pool and pitch horseshoes. He was also an avid Steelers fan, and served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his parents Fred was preceded in death by a granddaughter Devan Duniver; half brother Jack, and a half sister Evelyn Kafury; first wife Ellen R. Duniver.
He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Virginia (Santa Maria) Duniver whom he married in 1990; three sons, Ed (Debbie) Duniver of Byesville, Dick (Donna) Duniver of AZ, and Fred Duniver Jr. of Byesville; five step-children, Jeannie Reese, James Lenon, Thomas Lenon, Nancy Lenon, and Eddie Griffith; six grandchildren, Dan Duniver, Heather Murrey, Stephanie, Carley and Dylan Duniver, Angel Bowsher and Brittany Duniver.
No calling hours will be observed.
A graveside service will be held Monday (January 13th) at 1:00 p.m. in Northwood Cemetery with military services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
