Gary D. Stafford Jr.

Gary Dale Stafford Jr., 43, of Zanesville, passed away Thursday (December 23, 2021) at his home.

He was born March 29, 1978 in Colorado Springs CO, son of Gary (Sandy) Stafford of Lowell and Eunice “Darlene” Stafford of Zanesville.

Gary was formerly employed at Environmental Management Specialists Inc., as a WVO contractor.  He had a great passion for cars, baseball, basketball, his adult softball league, and his friends & family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Maxie “Granny” and Herod Stafford.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three daughters, Brooke Stafford (Tim Kirkman) of Cambridge, Jacqueline Stillions (Devon Wickham) of Byesville, and Kenzie Stafford of Buffalo; a sister, Misty Stafford of Lowell; six grandchildren, Blaine Kirkman, Hayden Kirkman, Mya Kirkman, Aubrella Stillions, Ensleigh Wickham, and Lillian Wickham; two nieces, Destaine Crumbaker and Angelina Crumbaker; a nephew, Steven Crumbaker; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial visitation hours will be held Saturday (January 8, 2022) from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.  Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else’s should you decide to attend.
